What a group this was! We
were from different generations but all of the same heart. The ages ranged
from 25 to 80. You probably won't be able to guess who is the oldest and
even when we were together, the older ones ran us youngsters into the
ground. We had a multicultural group with two Nez Perse and a
Soshone. We had a fun time traveling around K'ekchi country, this time
near Lake Izabal. We visited the APMK (Asociacion de Presbiterios Maya
K'ekchi) offices, a castle on the lake, held medical clinics, gave out reading
glasses and por supuesto (of course) visited churches. We also traveled
through a large palm finca where gallons of palm oil are extracted. You
can see the fruit below.
